Good job!  We are glad to see that our excess scrap fabric is finding a use, rather than going to landfill.

A recent customer review, with pictures

Hi, Liz!

Just wanted to say thanks for your beautiful clothing line.  I started buying your clothes about 12 or 13 years ago for my niece, Erin.  She is now 15!

I wanted to send these photos of her little sister, Bethany who is 4.  She loves this outfit and calls it her ‘mint chocolate chip’ dress.  The photos were taken at a baby shower in a local restaurant.

Bethany also loves wearing Erin’s old Snug as a Bug outfits.  She chose a purple fleece dress with appliqued flowers to wear to Grandma’s this Christmas.  It’s about 10 years old but still looks nice and is a favourite!

Thanks for the dedication and the love you obviously put into your work!

Fundraising

Fundraising

When our lives involve children, our lives involve fundraising. It becomes a part of our living.

Fundraising is important and students look forward to it. With imagination and cooperation from parents and the community, it can be quite an experience for all. Adults and children meet new people and share ideas. We feel our Community and that is good.

Several schools have been coming in for our craft fabric giveaways. We have been happy to hear all the ideas floating about. One school is using the fabric to make props for their upcoming Holiday concert. Another is making scarves to sell at their bazaar. It has been wonderful seeing the parents, teachers and students come by our retail store. Everyone is appreciative and feel welcomed.

We thank you all for coming in and still have much more fabric to offer.

Just one last thing… if you are in or near our hipster Junction community this Saturday, the 21st, drop by Lucy McCormick Senior Public School at 2717 Dundas St. West. They are hosting their annual bazaar that runs from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Help support their upcoming field trips and the purchase of specialized equipment for their students. Then after, come by and see us at the store, say “hi” and if you want some fabric – we have some for you ! You will find us at 3022 Dundas St. West on the north side.

A Visit from a Neighbour

Ada - MeowIt was a sunny day when Ada came in to share.

What a sweet vision! Ada looked all ready for that fun, candy-filled holiday we all love – Hallowe’en !

Ada was enthusiastic to show us her kitty cat costume her Mommy lovingly made for her. She was adorned in patterns from our polar fleece footed pajama line - ”Chilly Penguin”, “Chocolate Brown”, “Tulip Pink” and “Christmas Plaid”. Ada’s Mommy had made her costume from one of the 900 bags of fabric pieces we gave away at September’s Junction Arts Festival. What a sight!

Does this inspire you? If so, please come and see us. Our products are locally manufactured so we always have left over fabric pieces for you. Just come into our retail store during regular business hours and take as many bags as you want. These pieces are great for everyone! We welcome families, daycares, camps, schools and more. There is craft fabric for everyone.

We would love to see what you create with them too! Hope to see you soon!
